Peores y mejores covers de rock de la historia
Es un día lento de noticias de bandas, así que vamos a ir con esas noticias de estadísticas que deciden lo que el mundo siente por hacerle preguntas a un par de personas.
La revista musical NME ha realizado una encuesta entre sus lectores para buscar los mejores y peores covers de la historia. La banda en encabezar la lista de las mejores reversiones es Muse con su version del tema creado para un musical, Feeling Good, seguido por Los Beatles con "Twist and Shout", el difunto Jhonny Cash con su conmovedora version del tema de Nine Hinch Nails, "Hurt" y Jimi Hendrix con "Hey Joe".
Entre los peores covers lo que más se destaca son cantantes de música pop (¿porque no me sorprende?) siendo la peor de todas Britney Spears con "I love Rock'n'Roll" creada originalmente por la banda The Arrows y seguida por Celine Dion masacrando el clásico de AC/DC "You Shook me all night long" y Take That con su cover de Nirvana "Smeells like teen spirit". ¿La moraleja de todo esto? las estrellas pop tienen que mantenerse a hacer lo que hacen medianamente decente, cantar canciones de 3 minutos cuyas temáticas son enamorarse, dejar de amar y ya no ser amado.
